AI has come a long way in the last 3 years. That any non-human actor could exhibit generalized intelligence was an idea that went from science fiction to widely accepted reality nearly overnight with the release of GPT-3. And, while there is more work to do in bringing these models to the next level, I think we're well beyond the point where the utility of these systems is arguable1 and is capable of exceeding average human performance in even complicated tasks. So, what's next?
